Let the students choose an optional backpack, then let the students, draw important things to bring to school, the option to cut things out of newspapers. You as a teacher can also let the students fill the backpack with words, topics, and things that show who the student is. It can also be fun for the students if you also do a similar task.
Here you can view two documents where one is created in A4 format and the other in landscape A4 format.
In the file ”My backpack” you can take part of four backpacks with a duplicate for each backpack as one of the backpacks has the title ”My backpack.” There are two different variants of open backpacks and a backpack that is closed. One of the bags has open questions for the student.
The material is suitable for the entire primary school and is available in both Swedish and English.
If you want, you as a teacher can read or listen to the book ”The backpack” before, during, or after the picture lesson with ”My backpack” by the Oxford Reading Tree.
